This article discusses the successful arrival of three astronauts from three different countries at the International Space Station using the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft. The Belarusian Marina Vasilevskaja, Russian Oleg Novicki, and American Trejsi Dajson successfully transferred from the spacecraft to the space station, where they were greeted by their colleagues. The spacecraft took off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan and the journey to the station took two days. According to the original plan, they were supposed to launch on Thursday, but the launch was canceled 20 seconds before takeoff, and they started on Saturday. Marina Vasilevskaja has become the first citizen of Belarus in orbit since the country’s independence from the USSR.

Before the visit by Soyuz, the orbit of the International Space Station was altered by lifting it 2.8 kilometers using the Progress MS-26 spacecraft’s engines. Novicki and Vasilevskaja are planned to stay on the ISS for about two weeks and then return to Earth with NASA astronaut Loral Ohara. Dajsonova will remain in orbit until September when she will return with Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolay Chab.

Changes in the orbit of the International Space Station were made ahead of Soyuz’s arrival, recently announced by Roscosmos. The station’s orbit was raised by 2.8 kilometers using the Progress MS-26 spacecraft’s engines. It is planned that Soyuz MS-25 will bring the crew of Expedition 21 to the space station. Novicki and Vasilevskaja are expected to stay on the ISS for about two weeks and then return to Earth with NASA astronaut Loral Ohara, while Dajsonova will remain in orbit until September, when she will return to Earth with Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolay Chab.
